Tell us about the love you share
We met on Bumble in May 2018. Our first date was about a week later at an Indian restaurant in Acton, followed by a walk around Nara Park. We immediately felt a connection, and it has only grown since then.
The Proposal
Justin proposed Memorial Day 2019 weekend in Salem, MA. He was not subtle about what was coming, as he insisted Liz have her nails painted, and he threatened to throw her into the ocean if she looked in his backpack that day.
Tell us a little about yourselves.
Liz teaches high school math, and Justin teaches 8th-grade social studies. We are both members of His Majesty's 10th Regiment of Foot, a living history group based out of Lexington, MA.
We have recently finished rewatching the Marvel Universe movies, in the chronological order of the universe's timeline.
We have also work on many crafts together, most recently that has been resin work to preserve sentimental items.
Pre-pandemic, we would travel and explore places together. For example, in December 2018, we visited Liz's family in the Seattle area and went to explore Victoria, BC for a few days.
We’ve been listening to various wedding reception playlists on Amazon Music and Spotify. One of the few bands we can both agree we like is The Beatles.
What are you most looking forward to about your wedding day?
Celebrating with our friends and family after a difficult year and a half of COVID.
